Springtime Socks
I finished the first of a new pair of socks for myself; I didn't use a real pattern but instead used a recipe that'd fit my foot & a cable stitch pattern from a dictionary. It's probably the most complex & prettiest sock I've made yet, and I can't wait to design more. Next up will be a pair for Mom for her birthday & Mother's Day; I think I'll create a design instead of using a dictionary or a pattern.

So? What did you think of the show on Saturday?? Were you sitting anywhere near that scuffle? I was a bit ticked off because "Empty" is my fave Ray song and those fools ruined it for me! But still, a wonderful show! :)
Those are absolutely lovely. When we hang out, will you let me pet them? They look snuggly!
Melissa: I thought Ray & the band was wonderful, but the people sitting around me were not so nice... talking through songs, multiple trips to the bar for more beer, lots of picture-taking with bright glowing screens... ugh. And I wasn't anywhere near the scuffle, but it was still annoying. Like you, they disrupted my favorite song.
